Law review article analyzing the status and effect of the obligation to consult indigenous peoples on matters that directly affect their rights to their lands; specifically focusing on national parks and the significance of land and biodiversity to local tradition, culture, and lifestyle in Gabon and Panama. The article argues that the right to consultation concerning any action which may affect traditional use of land falls within customary international law, and concludes by reconciling potential conflict between human rights and environmental protection through a consultative process

Legal petition to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Committee requesting that the Talamanca Range-La Amistad Reserves/La Amistad National Park in Panama and Costa Rica be included on the List of World Heritage in Danger due to human-caused actions threatening the characteristics for which the site was included on the World Heritage List.
